The Signs and Sayings of Jesus
We begin a series where we look at the life of Jesus from the gospel of John, focusing on the signs and sayings that tell us Jesus is significant. John describes seven signs (miracles) and "I am" statements that causes us to stop, ponder and think about his life and teachings.

I Am The Way, The Truth and The Life (John 14:1-13)
This message focuses on Jesus as the only way to the father and on the surface, can be offensive. The context in which he shares this is telling them to not let your hearts be troubled. His "I Am" statement comes immediately after saying three very difficult statements that are about to happen, representing the single biggest failure that they'll have in the entirety of their ministry: 1) one of their own will betray him, 2) that he's going to leave them and they can't follow him and 3) Peter is going to deny him.
